Subject: [PATCH v8 02/10] rust: num: add `shr` and `shl` methods to `Bounded`
Date: Tue, 10 Mar 2026 00:13:59 +0900 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20260310-register-v8-2-424f80dd43bc@nvidia.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20260310-register-v8-0-424f80dd43bc@nvidia.com>
Shifting a `Bounded` left or right changes the number of bits required
to represent the value. Add methods that perform the shift and return a
`Bounded` with the appropriately adjusted bit width.
These methods are particularly useful for bitfield extraction.
