Subject: [PATCH v2 4/4] platform/chrome: cros_ec_chardev: Introduce rwsem for protecting ec_dev
Date: Sat, 16 May 2026 22:30:17 +0800 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20260516143017.18560-5-tzungbi@kernel.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20260516143017.18560-1-tzungbi@kernel.org>
Introduce a rwsem for protecting `ec_dev` to prevent Use-After-Free on
the `ec_dev`.
- Writers: In driver's probe() and remove().
- Readers: In file operations.
Signed-off-by: Tzung-Bi Shih <tzungbi@kernel.org>

v2:
- New to the series.
v1: Doesn't exist.
