So it's Sunday afternoon, just not in the usual timezone where I do
these releases, since I've been traveling.
But apart from the timezone difference, everything looks entirely
normal. Drivers (GPU, networking and sound dominate - the usual
suspects, in other words) and architecture fixes. The latter are
mostly arm devicetree fixlets, but also some x86 cleanups and fallout
from the embargo last week.
Not a huge amount of patches, and I really get the feeling that a lot
of maintainers are on vacation. But I will be optimistic and also
blame it all being quiet on things working fairly well.
So I think this will be the last rc unless something nasty comes up.
Do keep testing,
Linus

Hi,
> So I think this will be the last rc unless something nasty comes up.
Can we please make sure this goes in before the final release so that we
don't have a broken ABI out there in a released version (the signal frame
may have to adjusted too, as the vector state struct seems messy to me as
a part of UAPI, so there may be more to revert; I haven't looked through
this stuff in detail as I only found the issues here in a GDB review):

Below is the list of build error/warning regressions/improvements in
v6.5-rc7[1] compared to v6.4[2].
Summarized:
- build errors: +5/-4
- build warnings: +44/-19
JFYI, when comparing v6.5-rc7[1] to v6.5-rc6[3], the summaries are:
- build errors: +0/-0
- build warnings: +0/-0
Note that there may be false regressions, as some logs are incomplete.
Still, they're build errors/warnings.
Happy fixing! ;-)
Thanks to the linux-next team for providing the build service.
