Netfilter version in latest kernels 2.4.7 - 13

 hi .. what version of netfilter code is in the following kernel
verions?

2.4.7
2.4.8... pretty sure this is 1.2.2
2.4.9
2.4.10
------
2.4.12
2.4.13

does the ac series have different versions of iptables included in via
its patches?

the short question would be

do i need to patch in order to have iptables version 1.2.4 , currently
available at netfilter.samba.org , when i am using the latest kernels ?
