Suddenly, after 36 hours uptime, the console was flooded with this

Given the fact that this alpha has 1.5 Gb memory and 2 Gb swap, I feel
'out-of-memory' shouldn't happen (I was running mutt, slrn, some ssh
sessions - nothing big).

36 hours is probably a world record ;)

It's possible that the machine really did run out of memory. There
are some scenarios with memory-mapped holey files and with swap which
can result in unfreeable memory. 2.5.14 is better.

It's just a warning. 2.5.14 will calm it down.
