In the attempt to get my Xircom Cardbus PCI working (2.5.20
  plus GregKH extraction of Patrick's PCI detection patch is
  still not working for me) I decided to give -dj3 a spin...
  modular IrDA doesn't build (2.5.20 vanilla does):
