We (the -stable team) are announcing the release of the 2.6.16.13
kernel.
The diffstat and short summary of the fixes are below.
I'll also be replying to this message with a copy of the patch between
2.6.16.12 and 2.6.16.13, as it is small enough to do so.
The updated 2.6.16.y git tree can be found at:
rsync://rsync.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-2.6.16.y.git
and can be browsed at the normal kernel.org git web browser:
www.kernel.org/git/
thanks,
greg k-h

No, meaning that .13 fixed a totally different problem from what you are reporting, so it is expected that the same problem you see with .12 is also in .13. thanks, greg k-h ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 10+ messages in thread

The problem is: I do not see it with .12 (or .11, or .10 (all tested)), but only with .13. So maybe the .13-patch isn't as unrelated as it looks on first sight... (I used merely all 2.6.16.X, downloaded them always as complete archives) -- Regards, Stephan ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 10+ messages in thread

If not, there is no difference between .12 and .13. thanks, greg k-h ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 10+ messages in thread

The problems showed up shortly after upgrading it to .13 I downgraded back to .11 now and everything is back to normal. -- Regards, Stephan ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 10+ messages in thread
