OK, I reviewed both x86 defconfigs. I didn't come up with anything
else that obviously should be removed, so here is the CONFIG_TR patch.
(applies on top of your defconfig updates)

Remove CONFIG_TR from defconfigs for x86 since it
is antiquated and obsolete.
