Maybe it would be even better to just code the indirect call instruction
in assembly?

Something like:

	asm volatile("call *%0"
		     : : "r" (vide)
		     : "eax", "ecx", "edx");

Gotta love the metal mask(?) fix without bumping the stepping number...
