Isn't there any way to sue Sasken into the ground for indirectly spamming a
high traffic mailing list?

Sorry, not available. RedHat do not want kdb so SGI do not do KDB
patches against RedHat distributions. Use SuSE instead, that has KDB
built in.

I want to add one more thing, you can compile your own kernel with KDB
patch applied .... if u really want to use KDB on Redhat ...... And I
think you can also try to apply patch of KDB for 2.4.20 on the Redhat
kenel, that might succeed if redhat havn't changed anything in the
files of 2.4.20 kernel in which KDB patches or make changes .........

Hi ,

Please help me to build an rpm

This rpm should include test.o (which is compiled already) and
install.doc

Is it possible to have a spec file without having make and make install

in %build and %install sections..??

There're a "make rpm" and "make binrpm-pkg". There's a spec
file in scripts/package/mkspec - it should be easy to adapt it to your
needs.

1) This is not a kernel problem. It's probably not a linux-net problem either.
In fact, it's almost certainly a user error.

2) RedHat 9.0 has been unsupported for a long time - I suggest an upgrade
to either RedHat Enterprise Linux 4.1, CentOS 4.1, or Fedora Core 4, depending
on your religious beliefs.

Congrats. You just prohibited anybody on the list from saying "Hey Joe, do you
know how to fix this guy's PPP problem?" and forwarding the mail. Stupid disclaimer.
