syzbot tried to test the proposed patch but the build/boot failed:

failed to create instance: googleapi: Error 400: Invalid value for field 'resource.scheduling.preemptible': 'false'. Scheduling must have preemptible be false when OnHostMaintenance isn't TERMINATE., invalid
