That is, there must be *something* keeping the folio alive before the folio_get(). It could be a page table mapping with the PTL held (which does not apply here). Or it could be another prior folio_try_get() (e.g., do_migrate_range()). But essentially, folio_isolate_lru() cannot race with __folio_put(). It would be fundamentally broken. -- Cheers, David
