seems like a good time to introduce a common DISCARD define to
include/asm-generic/vmlinux.lds.h. considering multiple /DISCARD/
entries are allowed in a linker script, the define should be pretty
straightforward:

EXIT_DATA \
*(.exitcall.exit) \
*(.discard) \
}
