I'm sure we'd all be happy to look at proposed changes in another patchset, but I'm not likely to add more changes to this one. In general, there's plenty of historical baggage in printk space, but changing it requires careful thought about API/ABI compatibility, new designs, and compatibility. Thanks, Chris
