The kernel CVS seems screwed. cvsps -x --bkcvs tells there are 2
checkins.

cvsps -x for days showed this as the last checkin.

x86: move PIT code to timer_pit

(Logical change 1.21009)

Members:
        arch/i386/kernel/i8259.c:1.35->1.36
        arch/i386/kernel/timers/timer_pit.c:1.14->1.15
        include/asm-i386/timer.h:1.15->1.16

(see the Date tag too)

Perhaps I'm the only user, I use it on a daily basis, it worked fine
until a few days ago.

This has already been reported to linux-kernel:

| From: Larry McVoy <lm@bitmover.com>
| To: linux-kernel@vger.kernel.org
| Subject: [BK2CVS] locking problems on kernel.org
| Date:  Fri, 3 Dec 2004 06:53:07 -0800

| The last few days the locking mechanism on kernel.org has been broken.
| The result is that the CVS export tree isn't getting updated. I've mailed
| the admins and gotten no response, does anyone know who manages that
| machine?

Andrew posted it to me privately too, thanks. (it's not urgent, I just
wanted to be sure somebody was aware about it ;)

I sent back a reply saying "we don't see anything wrong with the
locking mechanism, details please?"

Now, the *UPLOAD* mechanism was broken for a while. That has been
fixed.
