I sent a series of patches to the list on Friday. I
was sent a message for each indicating they were
being held pending approval of the list owner, because
I was not a member of the list. I have now joined
the list, and will be re-sending the patch series
shortly.
I don't know who the list owner/moderator is, but
if all goes well there is no need to allow the
original series to be sent to the list. I hope
we don't get duplicate messages.
-Alex

I already approved your pending emails this evening, but I think you once again posted all the patches and hence we end up with duplicates.
Anyways now you are member of the list and your future emails will not require any approvals.
Thanks,
Shubham

Do we really need approval for non-list members?
Do ltp mailing list gets a lot of spam?
I personally preffer lists that are open for everybody just like LKML is.

Okay, then we should live with this.
Is this written somewhere on LTP web pages on sf.net? Perhaps we should
create some contributing FAQ and put it there (the pages seems to be
outdated and would benefit from update too).

Note that most of the documentation is allready in git ltp/doc/
especially the style-guide.txt and README.mk-devel. I've been thinking
of changing these a little so they could be converted into html by
asciidoc (http://www.methods.co.nz/asciidoc/) and put on the LTP web
later.
