Subject: + m68k-use-generic-show_mem.patch added to -mm tree
Date: Tue, 22 Jul 2008 03:24:06 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <200807221024.m6MAO6fq023112@imap1.linux-foundation.org> (raw)
The patch titled
m68k: use generic show_mem()
has been added to the -mm tree. Its filename is
m68k-use-generic-show_mem.patch
Before you just go and hit "reply", please:
a) Consider who else should be cc'ed
b) Prefer to cc a suitable mailing list as well
c) Ideally: find the original patch on the mailing list and do a
reply-to-all to that, adding suitable additional cc's

Subject: m68k: use generic show_mem()
From: Johannes Weiner <hannes@saeurebad.de>
Remove arch-specific show_mem() in favor of the generic version.
This also removes the following redundant information display:
- free pages, printed by show_free_areas()
- pages in swapcache, printed by show_swap_cache_info()
where show_mem() calls show_free_areas(), which calls
show_swap_cache_info().
