Subject: + rtc-bfin-shrink-optimize-interrupt-handler-a-bit.patch added to -mm tree
Date: Mon, 23 Aug 2010 12:15:40 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <201008231915.o7NJFepZ009664@imap1.linux-foundation.org> (raw)
The patch titled
rtc-bfin: shrink/optimize interrupt handler a bit
has been added to the -mm tree. Its filename is
rtc-bfin-shrink-optimize-interrupt-handler-a-bit.patch
Before you just go and hit "reply", please:
a) Consider who else should be cc'ed
b) Prefer to cc a suitable mailing list as well
c) Ideally: find the original patch on the mailing list and do a
reply-to-all to that, adding suitable additional cc's
*** Remember to use Documentation/SubmitChecklist when testing your code ***
See http://userweb.kernel.org/~akpm/stuff/added-to-mm.txt to find
out what to do about this

Subject: rtc-bfin: shrink/optimize interrupt handler a bit
From: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
By unifying the RTC_ISTAT clearing steps, we shrink the interrupt handler
and avoid multiple writes to the hardware registers.
