- regarding the PM lock taken from the PM worker:
- PM lock and callback: should be called without them and reduce
the locks, but then spin_lock will be taken and released more instead of
less for a longer period.
- more unlock/lock == more costly, but should be OK: from worker
and let more time to do more things in //
- but we should not read pm->status without the lock, then
modify it with the lock: either get a copy + reset with the lock or
READ_ONCE
- can we have mptcp_pm_worker() called multiple times for the
same msk in //?:
Geliang understood what Mat meant here and will update it in
v5 of this set.
