r8169 driver & -mm4

Hi,

Since i compiled the latest 2.6.3-mm4, without PREEMP, without SMP, and
without ACPI, my laptop is almost working flawlessly.
But, i was surprised when i unplugged the RJ45 cable, in 
/var/log/messages, i got :
[...]

then, even if i plug the cable again, i got

I could not even ping any host. i had to do a 

ifdown eth0 
ifup eth0

To be able to ping the world again.
