There was no change in latest kernel in this area.
Should you have only tg3 cards, I guess there would be no bug.
Bug is probably a combination of :
1) tg3 + GRO , or any card enabling GRO
2) Some network code (netfilter ?)
3) a 8139too, or any card calling skb_copy_and_csum_dev()
