The server has ipv6 forwarding on.

# ip -6 a
1: lo: <LOOPBACK,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 16436
    inet6 ::1/128 scope host
       valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
2: eth0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qlen 1000
    inet6 2a01::1/64 scope global
       valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
    inet6 fe80::20c:29ff:fecc:bc43/64 scope link
       valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
3: eth1: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qlen 1000
    inet6 2001::1/64 scope global
       valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
    inet6 fe80::20c:29ff:fecc:bc4d/64 scope link
       valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever

# ip -6 r
2001::/64 dev eth1  proto kernel  metric 256
2a01::/64 dev eth0  proto kernel  metric 256
fe80::/64 dev eth1  proto kernel  metric 256
fe80::/64 dev eth0  proto kernel  metric 256
default via 2001::2 dev eth1  metric 1024

2001::2 is the address of the other (client) host.
