Subject: [net-next 10/12] ixgbe: support software timestamping
Date: Wed, 9 May 2012 23:46:51 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1336632413-19135-11-git-send-email-jeffrey.t.kirsher@intel.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1336632413-19135-1-git-send-email-jeffrey.t.kirsher@intel.com>

From: Jacob Keller <jacob.e.keller@intel.com>

Kernel software timestamping requires that the driver calls skb_tx_timestamp
just before passing the skb to the MAC, in order to provide the best software
timestamps. This patch adds this call for that support.
