Subject: [net-next RFC 7/7] i40evf: add driver to kernel build system
Date: Thu, 22 Aug 2013 21:53:29 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1377233609-11627-8-git-send-email-jeffrey.t.kirsher@intel.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1377233609-11627-1-git-send-email-jeffrey.t.kirsher@intel.com>

From: Mitch A Williams <mitch.a.williams@intel.com>

+This file describes the i40evf Linux* Base Driver for the Intel(R) XL710
+X710 Virtual Function.
+
+The i40evf driver supports XL710 and X710 virtual function devices that
+can only be activated on kernels with CONFIG_PCI_IOV enabled.
+
+The guest OS loading the i40evf driver must support MSI-X interrupts.
