From mboxrd@z Thu Jan 1 00:00:00 1970 From: Jon Maloy Subject: [net-next 4/5] tipc: add SYN bit to connection setup messages Date: Fri, 28 Sep 2018 20:23:21 +0200 Message-ID: <1538159002-11800-5-git-send-email-jon.maloy@ericsson.com> References: <1538159002-11800-1-git-send-email-jon.maloy@ericsson.com> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain Cc: , , , , , , To: , Return-path: Received: from sessmg23.ericsson.net ([193.180.251.45]:56965 "EHLO sessmg23.ericsson.net" rhost-flags-OK-OK-OK-OK) by vger.kernel.org with ESMTP id S1726191AbeI2Asq (ORCPT ); Fri, 28 Sep 2018 20:48:46 -0400 In-Reply-To: <1538159002-11800-1-git-send-email-jon.maloy@ericsson.com> Sender: netdev-owner@vger.kernel.org List-ID: Messages intended for intitating a connection are currently indistinguishable from regular datagram messages. The TIPC protocol specification defines bit 17 in word 0 as a SYN bit to allow sanity check of such messages in the listening socket, but this has so far never been implemented. We do that in this commit.
