Absolutely. It initially using the scatterlist for this
crypto layer call:
ret = crypto_blkcipher_decrypt_iv(&desc->desc, desc->frags,
desc->frags, thislen);
if (ret)
return ret;
then it reinits and sets the sglist to the values the caller
wants.
