From mboxrd@z Thu Jan 1 00:00:00 1970 From: Stephen Hemminger Subject: [PATCH 3/9] PCI: add interface to set visible size of VPD (rev3) Date: Thu, 25 Sep 2008 09:48:54 -0700 Message-ID: <20080925165223.366942933@vyatta.com> References: <20080925164851.694359776@vyatta.com> Cc: netdev@vger.kernel.org, linux-pci@vger.kernel.org, Ben Hutchings , Ivan Vecera To: Jeff Garzik , Jesse Barnes Return-path: Content-Disposition: inline; filename=vpd-size.patch Sender: linux-pci-owner@vger.kernel.org List-Id: netdev.vger.kernel.org The VPD on all devices may not be 32K. Unfortunately, there is no generic way to find the size, so this adds a simple API hook to reset it.
