Subject: [PATCH 2/9] PCI: revise VPD access interface
Date: Mon, 13 Oct 2008 13:13:04 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20081013201452.754296820@vyatta.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: 20081013201302.899587376@vyatta.com
[-- Attachment #1: vpd-ops.patch --]
[-- Type: text/plain, Size: 9400 bytes --]
Change PCI VPD API which was only used by sysfs to something usable
in drivers.
* move iteration over multiple words to the low level
* use conventional types for arguments
* add exportable wrapper
* don't allow writes of non-aligned, non-wordsize data
