Quote the commit log message portion, delete the patch itself since you're not giving any specific feedback, and then insert your Acked-by/Tested-by/Reviewed-by/whatever right afterwards. I know that people are trained not to properly put context before the things they say in email replied, and edit out the unnecessary portions of the quoted material, simply because many popular email clients tend to make this difficult and make top-posting way too easy, but that is not our problem.
