This doesn't matter because the caller doesn't progate the error code
anyway.  Please fix that as well.

	ret = rsi_load_bootup_params(...);
	if (ret)
		return ret;

Instead of:
	if (rsi_load_bootup_params(...))
		erturn -ENOMEM;
