With GCC 6.3, we can get the following warning:

drivers/net/usb/usbnet.c:85:19: warning: 'driver_name' defined but not
used [-Wunused-const-variable=]
 static const char driver_name [] = "usbnet";
                   ^~~~~~~~~~~
