Subject: [net-next 07/12] ixgbevf: fix possible race in the reset subtask
Date: Mon, 4 Jun 2018 10:56:39 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20180604175644.24293-8-jeffrey.t.kirsher@intel.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20180604175644.24293-1-jeffrey.t.kirsher@intel.com>

From: Emil Tantilov <emil.s.tantilov@intel.com>

Extend the RTNL lock in ixgbevf_reset_subtask() to protect the state bits
check in addition to the call to ixgbevf_reinit_locked().

This is to make sure that we get the most up-to-date values for the bits
and avoid a possible race when going down.
