Subject: [PATCH 3/9] block: implement NVMEM provider
Date: Tue, 28 Apr 2026 16:23:08 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20260428-block-as-nvmem-v1-3-6ad23e75190a@oss.qualcomm.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20260428-block-as-nvmem-v1-0-6ad23e75190a@oss.qualcomm.com>
From: Daniel Golle <daniel@makrotopia.org>
On embedded devices using an eMMC it is common that one or more partitions
on the eMMC are used to store MAC addresses and Wi-Fi calibration EEPROM
data. Allow referencing the partition in device tree for the kernel and
Wi-Fi drivers accessing it via the NVMEM layer.
