From mboxrd@z Thu Jan 1 00:00:00 1970 From: Wang Chen Subject: [PATCH net-next] netdevice hdlc: Convert directly reference of netdev->priv Date: Fri, 21 Nov 2008 17:02:49 +0800 Message-ID: <49267939.9090808@cn.fujitsu.com> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit To: "David S. Miller" , Jeff Garzik , Krzysztof Halasa , NETDEV Return-path: Received: from cn.fujitsu.com ([222.73.24.84]:54867 "EHLO song.cn.fujitsu.com" rhost-flags-OK-FAIL-OK-OK) by vger.kernel.org with ESMTP id S1751769AbYKUJDJ (ORCPT ); Fri, 21 Nov 2008 04:03:09 -0500 Sender: netdev-owner@vger.kernel.org List-ID: Krzysztof said that he will take this one, but not. I sent this to Dave again. :) For killing directly reference of netdev->priv, use netdev->ml_priv to replace it. Because the private pvc data comes from add_pvc() and can't be allocated in alloc_netdev().
