This sounds interesting.  Dave, how would you envision the ethtool 
interface for this?  A new modifier to --statistics?  Like: 'ethtool 
--statistics ethX  viewname' where viewname could maybe be passed to the 
driver to allow arbitrary views?   Or something else?
