At least one reason this is still RFCs is this needs to be
cleaned up.

net/packet/af_packet.c: In function ‘packet_getsockopt’:
net/packet/af_packet.c:3918:1: warning: the frame size of 9264 bytes is 
larger than 2048 bytes [-Wframe-larger-than=]

but I wanted to see if there was any feedback.
