Though another netdev reader advised me that this would be a good place to ask. I know brevity is the soul of wit, but it's not the most encouraging for a list newbie to be told, "You're doing it wrong, and you're in the wrong place." You never know, I may have something to contribute after all is said and done. :-) So, if this isn't the place to ask, do you have any pointers in the right direction? -Ben
