Not at all - I think that testing whether the patch fixed the problem in the
initial environment adds to QA.

In the Internet space-time contiuum, you actually did not miss a thing,
because my testing is a logical consequence of your patch, and could not have
preceded it, so that the Tested-by would be in the original patch ;-)
