Subject: [PATCH v2 net-next 2/7] net: phylink: add pcs_validate() method
Date: Wed, 15 Dec 2021 15:34:20 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <E1mxWIO-00GPiD-8e@rmk-PC.armlinux.org.uk> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <YboKxwxonGND3Mom@shell.armlinux.org.uk>

Add a hook for PCS to validate the link parameters. This avoids MAC
drivers having to have knowledge of their PCS in their validate()
method, thereby allowing several MAC drivers to be simplfied.
