Subject: [PATCH RFC net-next 5/7] net: stmmac: add support for reading inband SGMII status
Date: Wed, 25 Feb 2026 11:44:50 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <E1vvDJy-0000000Arhe-0zxI@rmk-PC.armlinux.org.uk> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <aZ7ggfQanc8jeCb9@shell.armlinux.org.uk>
Report the link, speed and duplex for SGMII links, read from the
SGMII, RGMII and SMII status and control register.
Signed-off-by: Russell King (Oracle) <rmk+kernel@armlinux.org.uk>
---
rfc->v1: fix setting SGMII's link status - depend on both link status.
v2:
- fill in rsgmii offset and status fields in dwmac cores
- rename new GMAC_RGSMIII_xxx constants to GMAC_RGSMII_xxx
