Perhaps I'm missing something obvious, but
pds_core.h doesn't exist (yet).

Again, perhaps I'm missing something obvious, but
compilation of this file is guarded by CONFIG_DEBUG_FS (in ./Makefile).
So I don't think this guard is needed here.
