I will leverage pm_runtime_suspended(&pdev->dev) check before configuring.

Clubbing all comments on patch organization:
I see that patch series gets merged into 2 set only.

1/6 + 2/6 + 3/6 + 4/6 + 5/6 ==> 1/2
6/6 ==> 2/2
