Right, since it needs do copy there, so we tend to disable zerocopy in 
this case.

sorry, but this is not good. The reason is a bit subtle.
Drivers need to reset the filters when handling post_reset()
[ and reset_resume() ] usbnet_write_cmd() falls back to
kmemdup() with GFP_KERNEL. Usbnet is a framework with class
drivers and some of the devices we drive have a storage
interface. Thence we are on the block error handling path here.

The simplest solution is to leave out this patch in the sequence.

Seems zerocopy packets are always nonlinear and
netif_receive_generic_xdp() calls skb_linearize() in which
__pskb_pull_tail() calls skb_zcopy_clear(). Looks like tx_zcopy_err is
always counted when zerocopy is used with XDP in my env.

The xdp_set_data_meta_invalid() is a straight forward way for XDP drivers
to tell they do not support xdp->data_meta, since setting xdp->data + 1 will
fail the checks for direct (meta) packet access in the BPF code and at the
same time bpf_xdp_adjust_meta() will know to bail out with error when program
attempts to make headroom for meta data that driver cannot handle later on.

So later setting 'xdp->data_meta = xdp->data' to enable it is as setting any
other of the initializers in xdp_buff, and done so today in the i40e, ixgbe,
ixgbevf and nfp drivers. (Theoretically it wouldn't have to be exactly set to
xdp->data, but anything <= xdp->data works, if the driver would prepend info
from hw in front of it that program can then use or later override.)

I tested it on da850-evm - all MTD & SPI related modules need to be
built-in for it to work, so:

CONFIG_MTD=y
CONFIG_MTD_M25P80=y
CONFIG_SPI_DAVINCI=y

csq is used as a ring buffer, the value of the desc will be replaced
in next use. This patch removes the unnecessary memset, and just

Right. So endtime memorization is more like a future-proof thing.

Agree with you.

Thanks for your review, we  concentrate on  the code style and ignore the
performance in this patch, It is not good.

I will remove this patch from the patchset.
