Probably due to:
5b0d7d7da64b ("net: stmmac: Add the missing speeds that XGMAC supports")

Can you try attached patch ?

Subject: [PATCH net] net: stmmac: Do not cut down 1G modes
MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit

Some glue logic drivers support 1G without having GMAC/GMAC4/XGMAC.

Let's allow this speed by default.

Yes, that would make the code much clearer and easier to understand.

I'm testing 5.3-rc1 and on Orange Pi 3 (uses stmmac-sun8i.c glue) compared to
5.2 it fails to detect 1000Mbps link and the driver negotiates just a 10Mbps speed.

After going through stmmac patches since 5.2, I think it may be realted to this
series, but I'm not completely sure. You'll probably have a better understanding
of the changes. Do you have an idea what might be wrong? Please, see some logs
below.

thank you and regards,

Nice catch. The code that exists is confusing due to newinfo->entries
being overwritten and then freed in the existing code path as you state
in your commit log.

Would it be worth adding a new goto label above out_unlock and free this
entries_tmp? It could then be used in previous failure path as well.

TBH I am not sure about the buffer addresses either. The attached patch
did not help. Same problem persists.

* [PATCH bpf-next v4 2/6] xdp: Refactor devmap allocation code for reuse

From: Toke Høiland-Jørgensen <toke@redhat.com>

The subsequent patch to add a new devmap sub-type can re-use much of the
initialisation and allocation code, so refactor it into separate functions.

* [PATCH bpf-next v4 3/6] xdp: Add devmap_hash map type for looking up devices by hashed index
From: Toke Høiland-Jørgensen @ 2019-07-22 11:52 UTC (permalink / raw)
  To: Daniel Borkmann
Cc: Alexei Starovoitov, netdev, David Miller, Jesper Dangaard Brouer,

In-Reply-To: <156379636786.12332.17776973951938230698.stgit@alrua-x1>

From: Toke Høiland-Jørgensen <toke@redhat.com>

A common pattern when using xdp_redirect_map() is to create a device map
where the lookup key is simply ifindex. Because device maps are arrays,
this leaves holes in the map, and the map has to be sized to fit the
largest ifindex, regardless of how many devices actually are actually
needed in the map.

This patch adds a second type of device map where the key is looked up
using a hashmap, instead of being used as an array index. This allows maps
to be densely packed, so they can be smaller.

When we changed the device and CPU maps to use linked lists instead of
bitmaps, we also removed the need for the map_insert_ctx() helpers to keep
track of the bitmaps inside each map. However, it seems I forgot to remove
the function definitions stubs, so remove those here.

* [PATCH bpf-next v4 0/6] xdp: Add devmap_hash map type
From: Toke Høiland-Jørgensen @ 2019-07-22 11:52 UTC (permalink / raw)
  To: Daniel Borkmann
Cc: Alexei Starovoitov, netdev, David Miller, Jesper Dangaard Brouer,
Jakub Kicinski, Björn Töpel, Yonghong Song

This series adds a new map type, devmap_hash, that works like the existing
devmap type, but using a hash-based indexing scheme. This is useful for the use
case where a devmap is indexed by ifindex (for instance for use with the routing
table lookup helper). For this use case, the regular devmap needs to be sized
after the maximum ifindex number, not the number of devices in it. A hash-based
indexing scheme makes it possible to size the map after the number of devices it
should contain instead.

This was previously part of my patch series that also turned the regular
bpf_redirect() helper into a map-based one; for this series I just pulled out
the patches that introduced the new map type.

Changelog:

v4:

- Remove check_memlock parameter that was left over from an earlier patch
  series.
- Reorder struct members to avoid holes.

v3:

- Rework the split into different patches
- Use spin_lock_irqsave()
- Also add documentation and bash completion definitions for bpftool

v2:

- Split commit adding the new map type so uapi and tools changes are separate.

Changes to these patches since the previous series:

- Rebase on top of the other devmap changes (makes this one simpler!)
- Don't enforce key==val, but allow arbitrary indexes.
- Rename the type to devmap_hash to reflect the fact that it's just a hashmap now.

Jon, I'm not familiar with ARM. Are the buffer addresses being allocated
in a coherent region ? Can you try attached patch which adds full memory
barrier before the sync ?

Looks good to me.

I wonder if we should still do these two changes in the kernel:

- include asm/socket.h from linux/socket.h for consistency
- move the defines that got moved from asm/sockios.h to linux/sockios.h
back to the previous location to help anyone who is user
newer kernel headers with older glibc headers.

Historically, <asm/socket.h> (which is included from <bits/socket.h>)
provided ioctl operations for sockets. User code accessed them
through <sys/socket.h>. The kernel UAPI headers have removed these
definitions in favor of <linux/sockios.h>. This commit makes them
available via <sys/socket.h> again.

I have tried to verify this against our 3.10 kernel headers and the 5.2
headers, and I do not see any failures in glibc itself (the latter with
build-many-glibcs.py). Impact on application code is unclear at this
point, of course.

This patch depends on the earlier Linux 5.2 compatibility patch which
introduced <bits/socket-constants.h>.

* [PATCH] [v2 net-next] ipvs: reduce kernel stack usage
From: Arnd Bergmann @ 2019-07-22 11:29 UTC (permalink / raw)
To: David S. Miller, Alexey Kuznetsov, Hideaki YOSHIFUJI,
Wensong Zhang, Simon Horman, Julian Anastasov, Pablo Neira Ayuso,
	Jozsef Kadlecsik, Florian Westphal
Cc: Arnd Bergmann, Jacky Hu, Matteo Croce, netdev, lvs-devel,
	linux-kernel, netfilter-devel, coreteam

With the new CONFIG_GCC_PLUGIN_STRUCTLEAK_BYREF_ALL option, the stack
usage in the ipvs debug output grows because each instance of
IP_VS_DBG_BUF() now has its own buffer of 160 bytes that add up
rather than reusing the stack slots:

net/netfilter/ipvs/ip_vs_core.c: In function 'ip_vs_sched_persist':
net/netfilter/ipvs/ip_vs_core.c:427:1: error: the frame size of 1052 bytes is larger than 1024 bytes [-Werror=frame-larger-than=]

net/netfilter/ipvs/ip_vs_core.c:1231:1: error: the frame size of 1048 bytes is larger than 1024 bytes [-Werror=frame-larger-than=]
net/netfilter/ipvs/ip_vs_ftp.c: In function 'ip_vs_ftp_out':
net/netfilter/ipvs/ip_vs_ftp.c:397:1: error: the frame size of 1104 bytes is larger than 1024 bytes [-Werror=frame-larger-than=]
net/netfilter/ipvs/ip_vs_ftp.c: In function 'ip_vs_ftp_in':
net/netfilter/ipvs/ip_vs_ftp.c:555:1: error: the frame size of 1200 bytes is larger than 1024 bytes [-Werror=frame-larger-than=]

Since printk() already has a way to print IPv4/IPv6 addresses using
the %pISc format string, use that instead, combined with a macro that
creates a local sockaddr structure on the stack. These will still
add up, but the stack frames are now under 200 bytes.

So far I have also only added three files that caused the warning
messages to be reported. There are still a lot of other instances of
IP_VS_DBG_BUF() that could be converted the same way after the
basic idea is confirmed.

The reason for the panic is hidden in this one line of the kernel logs:
Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init! exitcode=0x0000000b

The init process is killed by SIGSEGV (signal 11 = 0xb).

I would suggest you look for data corruption bugs in the RX path. If
the code is fetched from the NFS mount then a corrupt RX buffer can
trigger a crash in userspace.

The genindex logic is meant to be used only for html output, as
pdf build has its own way to generate indexes.

There are two README files there with doesn't have a .txt
extension nor are at ReST format.

In order to help with the docs conversion to ReST, rename those
and manually convert them to ReST format.

As there are lot more to be done for networking to be part of
the documentation body, for now mark those two files with
:orphan:, in order to supress a build warning.

From: Mauro Carvalho Chehab @ 2019-07-22 11:07 UTC (permalink / raw)
Cc: Mauro Carvalho Chehab, Jonathan Corbet, Vladimir Oltean,
	linux-doc, netdev, Mike Rapoport
In-Reply-To: <cover.1563792333.git.mchehab+samsung@kernel.org>

The packing.txt file was misplaced, as docs should be part of
a documentation book, and not at the root dir.

So, move it to the core-api directory and add to its index.

Also, ensure that the file will be properly parsed and the bitmap
ascii artwork will use a monotonic font.

* [PATCH 11/22] docs: isdn: convert to ReST and add to kAPI bookset
From: Mauro Carvalho Chehab @ 2019-07-22 11:07 UTC (permalink / raw)
Cc: Mauro Carvalho Chehab, Jonathan Corbet, Karsten Keil,
	Greg Kroah-Hartman, linux-doc, netdev, devel
In-Reply-To: <cover.1563792333.git.mchehab+samsung@kernel.org>

The ISDN documentation is a mix of admin guide, uAPI and kAPI.

Ideally, it should be split. Yet, not sure if it would worth
the troble. Anyway, we have the same kind of mix on several
drivers specific documentation. So, just like the others, keep
the directory at the root Documentation/ tree, just adding a
pointer to it at the kAPI section, as the documentation was
written with the Kernel developers in mind.

+ ``ioctl(int fd, GIGASET_REDIR, int *cmd);``

are interpreted by the M10x DECT adapter itself instead of being
forwarded to the base station. In this mode, the device accepts the
commands described in Siemens document "AT-Kommando Alignment M10x Data"
for setting the operation mode, associating with a base station and
querying parameters like field strengh and signal quality.
+
Note that there is no ioctl command for leaving adapter configuration
mode and returning to regular operation. In order to leave adapter
configuration mode, write the command ATO to the device.

Set the break characters on an M105's internal serial adapter to the six
bytes stored in brkchars[]. Unused bytes should be set to zero.

      - GIGVER_DRIVER: retrieve driver version
      - GIGVER_COMPAT: retrieve interface compatibility version
      - GIGVER_FWBASE: retrieve the firmware version of the base

Upon return, version[] is filled with the requested version information.

3.2. Telling the driver to provide more information
- ----------------------------------------------
+---------------------------------------------------
Building the driver with the "Gigaset debugging" kernel configuration
option (CONFIG_GIGASET_DEBUG) gives it the ability to produce additional
      information useful for debugging.

You can control the amount of debugging information the driver produces by
- writing an appropriate value to /sys/module/gigaset/parameters/debug, e.g.
- echo 0 > /sys/module/gigaset/parameters/debug
+ writing an appropriate value to /sys/module/gigaset/parameters/debug,
+     e.g.::
+
+	echo 0 > /sys/module/gigaset/parameters/debug

- echo 0x302020 > /sys/module/gigaset/parameters/debug
+
+     ::
+
+	echo 0x302020 > /sys/module/gigaset/parameters/debug
+
enables a reasonable set of debugging output messages. These values are
bit patterns where every bit controls a certain type of debugging output.
See the constants DEBUG_* in the source file gigaset.h for details.

The initial value can be set using the debug parameter when loading the
- module "gigaset", e.g. by adding a line
- options gigaset debug=0
+ module "gigaset", e.g. by adding a line::

to your module configuration file, eg. /etc/modprobe.d/gigaset.conf

* [PATCH 00/22] ReST conversion of text files without .txt extension
From: Mauro Carvalho Chehab @ 2019-07-22 11:07 UTC (permalink / raw)
Cc: Mauro Carvalho Chehab, linux-spi, dmaengine, netdev, linux-wimax,
	devel, linux-i2c, linux-parisc, devel, linux-cifs, rcu, linux-iio,
openrisc, Greg Kroah-Hartman, Jonathan Corbet, linux-doc,
	alsa-devel, linux-wireless, linux-rtc, linux-mips

This series converts the text files under Documentation with doesn't end
neither .txt or .rst and are not part of ABI or features[1].

This series is at:
	https://git.linuxtv.org/mchehab/experimental.git/log/?h=rst_for_5_4_v2.1

And comes after the pending patches I had for v5.13 (some not applied
yet):
	https://git.linuxtv.org/mchehab/experimental.git/log/?h=pending_docs_after_5.13-rc1

[1] I submitted already a series to handle ABI and features.
There are some files besides the ones there with, IMHO, it
doesn't make sense to convert.

So, I wrote a small ugly script to track the files waiting to be
converted:

  #!/bin/bash

  find Documentation/ -name '*.txt'|grep -vE '(features/|devicetree/|sphinx/|output/|dax-hv-api.txt|draft-ietf-cipso-ipsecurity-01.txt|translations)'
  for i in $(find Documentation/ -type f|grep -v translations/|grep -v output/|grep -v devicetree|grep -v -E "\.(rst|txt|py|pyc|pl|dot|conf|svg|sh|awk|gif|S|inf|c|csv|css|vim|exceptions|modes)$"|grep -v ABI/ |grep -v Documentation/EDID/hex|grep -v dontdiff|grep -v Kconfig|grep -v Makefile|grep -v Module.symvers|grep -vE '\b(CodingStyle|SubmittingPatches|target-export-device|hotplug-script|wusb-cbaf)\b'|grep -v -E '(LICENSE|COPY|gitignore|Makefile|AUTHORS|TODO|CHANGES|CREDITS|ChangeLog)'|grep -v Documentation/virtual/kvm/devices/README); do echo $i; done

After this patch series, the script reports 358 files missing conversion, all ending with .txt.

From those, ~40 files are already at ReST format - the ones at Documentation/*.txt - except
for a couple of files there.

So, there's around 320 files left to be converted after this series,
with gives me hope that we may finally finish the conversion this
year. Let's see.
