From mboxrd@z Thu Jan 1 00:00:00 1970 From: Pablo Neira Ayuso Subject: [PATCH v2 2/2] netfilter: xt_TCPOPTSTRIP: fix possible off by one access Date: Mon, 5 Aug 2013 17:21:55 +0200 Message-ID: <1375716115-17083-2-git-send-email-pablo@netfilter.org> References: <1375716115-17083-1-git-send-email-pablo@netfilter.org> Cc: Julian Anastasov To: netfilter-devel@vger.kernel.org Return-path: Received: from mail.us.es ([193.147.175.20]:35289 "EHLO mail.us.es" rhost-flags-OK-OK-OK-OK) by vger.kernel.org with ESMTP id S1752915Ab3HEPWJ (ORCPT ); Mon, 5 Aug 2013 11:22:09 -0400 In-Reply-To: <1375716115-17083-1-git-send-email-pablo@netfilter.org> Sender: netfilter-devel-owner@vger.kernel.org List-ID: Fix a possible off by one access since optlen() touches opt[offset+1] unsafely when i == tcp_hdrlen(skb) - 1. This patch replaces tcp_hdrlen() by the local variable tcp_hdrlen that stores the TCP header length, to save some cycles.
