Hola gente, escribo en castellano porque veo que hay varios que hablan esta
lengua en esta lista.
Yo tengo Linux Red Hat 9 con iptables 1.2.7a, el kernel es 2.4.20-8. Aclaro
que no soy experto en instalaciones sobre todo las que incluyan al kernel.
Me gustaria actualizar a una version mas actual de iptables (por ej. la
1.2.11a) como para usar el filtrado por STRING entre otros, pero
sinceramente lei mucha informacion y estoy mareado. Lei por ahi que deberia
parchear el kernel, usar ademas patch-o-matic, etc etc.
Pregunto brevemente: no existe la posibilidad de instalar una nueva version
de iptables desde un RPM y listo ??? De lo contrario alguno me puede dar el
URL de una guia que sea clara y concisa para hacerlo yo mismo ??
