..my "try" line installs RH's kernel source tree.  
I just run pom over it and then compile.
(However, kernelmod-0.6.tar.gz'ing from 
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=44827
needs a built and installed kernel _and_ the tree.)
