Subject: iptables question ...
Date: Sat, 08 Mar 2003 12:32:42 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <3E69D4DA.5080708@fhtw-berlin.de> (raw)
Hi folks,
I have the following problem when using iptables for masquerading &
firewalling on a SUSE 8.1
linux system, which I intend to use as an isdn-router:
I configuered isdn for manual connection.
Connecting works as desired.
But then it takes about 2 minutes before ip-services are available.
In the meantime no networking services at all are available on the router!
After having patiently waited for 2 minutes everything works well.
This procedure takes place after each start of the isdn-connection!
What can I do to solve this problem? (I want to keep the feature of
connecting manually.)
I found nothing about this situation in the faqs ...
Thanx in advance,
Horst
