Subject: ULOG plugin with slow mysql database ?
Date: Mon, 14 Feb 2005 16:43:44 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <421137B0.6090307@utilitran.com> (raw)

Hello,

Is anyone using the ULOG feature with the mysql plugin ?

I am curious about the performance factors ? The documentation does not
provide much information on this subject ?

I am curious as to what happens if the mysql database goes down ? or is
slow to respond ?

I would assume that the packets would either be queued or lost ? and
would any of this have any impact on network through put ?

Thanks.
