If you SEND a mail FROM your server to an ANOTHER server then the 
DESTINATION port will be 25 !!!! :D

$IPTABLES -t mangle -A OUTPUT -p tcp -o $nic --dport $port -j MARK 
--set-mark 1

Try again!!! :D
